Costumes
Harry Potter costumes are not that difficult to put together. A formal school look or a gown will do the trick if you have or can make a few signature accessories: the striped English school tie, scarf, wand, round black glasses, and the like, that make up the Harry Potter look. Most of these costumes and accessories are readily available if you search through costume suppliers' catalogues.
And don't forget some face painting for the famous Harry Potter scar.
A Harry Potter Halloween party can be a lot of fun for Harry Potter fans. There is such a lot to do, including watching movies, playing games, visiting sites on the internet, playing charades and much more. You will not find it difficult to keep guests involved with a Harry Potter party theme. Click on this link for further Harry Potter party ideas.
Glow In The Dark Necklaces

Parties
Seeing the hundreds of colored glow sticks being
waved at a Disney World light show long ago has stuck
in my mind as a wonderful experience. Children are
always fascinated by things that glow in the dark. My
girls love glow sticks, black lights, glow in the
dark necklaces, and anything else that can glow.
Their bedroom ceilings at home are covered with glow
stars arranged in patterns that depict the different
constellations. It's an amazing atmosphere at night.
Glow in the dark necklaces, after all, are still a staple of the rave scene. If you go to a glowstick rave, you will know what I mean. There are people everywhere with these things. They even put glow sticks inside of their mouths so that when they open them, it will glow. It can get silly at times, but it really adds a lot to the party. It gives it an ambiance that it wouldn't otherwise have.
Now that I have kids of my own, I give them glow in the dark necklaces whenever I have the chance. I take any excuse. On Halloween, each of them get a glow in the dark necklace. On the fourth of July, the same thing. I think that their love of glowing things is every bit as strong as mine. Not only do they like the glow in the dark necklaces, but they adore pumpkins. They will carve jack-o'-lanterns all year if I let them!
I like glow in the dark necklaces so much, in
fact, that I actually buy my own in bulk. I love to
have parties, you see, and I think glow in the dark
necklaces make great party favors. A lot of my
friends think that I am silly, but they are convinced
by the end of the night in the wisdom of my ways. You
see, I have a big house and we have some great
bashes. Everyone gets all kinds of glowing party
favors, and when we turn off the lights and turn on
the black lights, everything in the house glows. I
even give out shirts with hidden messages written in
glow-in-the-dark ink. Everyone gets a different
message, and it is fun to let them discover it on
their own.
